Did you know you can bake golden, homemade bagels with just two ingredients – and no oven required? With this super easy recipe, you can make fresh bagels in your ONYX Cookware Airfryer – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and ready in just 10–12 minutes.

It’s faster than using the oven, and you don’t have to heat up your whole kitchen – the airfryer makes baking simple when you’re craving something fresh but don’t want the hassle.

What You’ll Need

For 4 small bagels:

  • 150 ml Greek yogurt (preferably 10% fat for best texture)

  • 150 ml self-raising flour*

*No self-raising flour? Use regular all-purpose flour and add 1½ tsp baking powder + ½ tsp salt.

Optional toppings:

  • 1 egg for brushing

  • Sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or shredded cheese

How to Make Them

  1. Mix the dough
Stir together the yogurt and flour in a bowl. Finish by kneading with your hands – the dough should be soft, but not sticky.

  2. Shape the bagels
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each piece into a log and shape into a ring – that’s your bagel shape.

  3. Get them airfryer-ready
Brush with egg and sprinkle with your chosen topping. Place the bagels on a piece of baking paper that fits your airfryer basket.

  4. Bake in your ONYX Cookware Airfryer
Preheat to 180°C. Bake the bagels for 10–12 minutes until golden and cooked through.

  5. Let cool slightly – and enjoy!
Serve warm with butter, cream cheese, or your favorite topping. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a cozy snack.
