Het mes ligt lekker in de hand.

Het mes ligt lekker in de hand en is zeer scherp. Als een mes door de boter.
Minpuntje is dat het niet magnetisch genoeg is om aan de magneetstrip te hangen bij de andere messen. Vreemd genoeg deed het dat wel toen het nieuw was, maar na een maal gebruikt te hebben een stuk minder magnetisch.

What's the difference between the two ranges?

The ceramic-steel knives have a ceramic-steel edge on a steel core. It's hard, 64 HRC, and holds its sharpness extra long. The stainless steel knives are 5Cr15MoV steel at 58 HRC. They resist rust and are quick to sharpen again.

What does the HRC number mean?

HRC is the Rockwell scale, which measures how hard the steel in a knife is. The higher the number, the better the edge holds its sharpness over time. The ceramic-steel knives are 64 HRC and our stainless steel knives are 58 HRC.

Can I use an ordinary knife sharpener?

Yes, the plain-edged knives in both ranges can be sharpened at 13° per side, or 26° when both sides are sharpened at once. The ceramic-steel knives are harder and take a little longer. The bread knife has a serrated edge and shouldn't go in an ordinary sharpener.

What's the best way to wash the knives?

Wash them by hand in warm water with a little soap and a soft sponge, and dry them straight away. Don't leave them in the sink, where they can knock against other things. That way both edge and handle stay looking good the longest.

What is the handle made of?

Both ranges have ABS handles, a strong plastic that repels water and stains. On the ceramic-steel knives it's light and non-slip, and on the stainless steel knives it's riveted on, so the knife sits steady in your hand.

How long is the warranty?

There's a 2-year warranty, and it covers both the product's shape and structure. If a fault appears, make a claim through our claims portal. Describe the fault and attach a photo or video, and we'll get back to you by email.
