How Hybrid is made

Three layers all the way through: steel on the outside that works on every hob, and an aluminium core that spreads heat quickly and evenly. Inside, a fine steel pattern with ceramic non-stick in between. The steel takes the knocks from the spatula, and food lets go.

Does it come with a lid?

No, the pans and pots are sold without lids, so you only buy what you need. Choose a lid in the same size: a 26 cm pan or pot fits our 26 cm glass lid. You'll find the lids among the accessories.

How much do the pots hold?

The 14 and 18 cm saucepans hold 0.9 and 2 litres. The 20, 24 and 28 cm pots hold 2.8, 5 and about 8 litres, and the 24, 28 and 32 cm sauté pots take 3, 4.5 and 7 litres. Sizes are measured across the top inside edge.

Can it go in the oven?

Yes, Hybrid pans and pots are oven-safe up to 260 °C. Brown the meat on the hob and let the dish finish in the oven in the same pan or pot. The handle gets hot in there, so use a pot holder or oven glove.

Will it work on my hob?

Yes. It works on induction, gas, electric and ceramic hobs. The outer layer is magnetic steel, and the aluminium core spreads the heat evenly across the base.

Can I use metal utensils?

Yes, an ordinary metal spatula or spoon is fine. The steel pattern in the surface takes the contact and protects the ceramic coating. Just avoid sharp things like knives, as they can scratch.

Is there PFAS in the coating?

No. The ceramic non-stick is made mainly from silica, which is sand, and is free from PFAS and PFC. There are no fluorine compounds in it, and no PTFE either, which most people know as Teflon.

What if it's not for me?

Cook with it at home for up to 100 days. If it's not for you, even if you've used it, send it back with a free return label and get your money back. On top of that, there's a 2-year warranty.
